Carapaz Wins First Tour de France Stage

Richard Carapaz of EF Education-EasyPost has won the 17th stage of the Tour de France, securing his first-ever stage win in the prestigious cycling race. The Ecuadorian rider crossed the finish line alone in Superdévoluy, leaving behind Simon Yates of Jayco-AlUla, whom he had passed 14 kilometers from the finish.

Carapaz Completes Set of Grand Tour Victories

With his victory on stage 17, Carapaz has now completed the set of victories in cycling's Grand Tours. He had previously won the Giro d'Italia in 2019 and the Vuelta a España in 2022.
