Utah State returns several key players from last season's team, including Mountain West Player of the Year Max Shulga. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 18.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game last season and is expected to be one of the top players in the conference again this year.

Other key returning players for the Aggies include guards Steven Ashworth and Rylan Jones. Ashworth averaged 12.8 points per game last season, while Jones contributed 10.5 points and 4.8 assists per game. Forward Sean Bairstow is also back for his senior season after averaging 9.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last year.

The Aggies added several talented newcomers to their roster this offseason, including JUCO All-American center Brandon Horvath and transfer guards Tyrese Haliburton and Desmond Cambridge Jr. Horvath is a 6-foot-11 center who averaged 17.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game last season at Salt Lake Community College.

Haliburton is a 6-foot-2 guard who comes to Utah State from Iowa State. He averaged 13.1 points and 6.5 assists per game for the Cyclones last season and is expected to be a major contributor for the Aggies this year.

Cambridge is a 6-foot-4 guard who transferred to Utah State from Nevada. He averaged 16.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Wolf Pack last season and is expected to be a key scorer for the Aggies this year.

The Aggies have a talented roster and are expected to be one of the top teams in the Mountain West Conference this season. They open the season on November 7th against Dixie State at the Spectrum.
