Joseph Lee Burrow, born on December 10, 1996, is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Born in Ames, Iowa, Burrow played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2019.

Burrow was drafted first overall by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite missing the majority of his rookie season due to injury, he returned in 2021 to lead the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988.
