TCS London Marathon 2024: All You Need to Know
When and Where
The 2024 TCS London Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 21. The race will start at 10:00 AM and finish at The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
Start Times
From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, a sequence of start waves will take place with short gaps in between to allow the course ahead to clear. All start lines will be closed by 11:30 AM.
Who's Running
Some of the world's top marathoners are expected to compete in the 2024 London Marathon, including defending champions Eliud Kipchoge and Brigid Kosgei. Other notable runners include Mo Farah, Kenenisa Bekele, and Paula Radcliffe.
How to Watch
The 2024 TCS London Marathon will be broadcast live on BBC One in the UK. You can also watch the race online at the BBC Sport website or on the BBC iPlayer app.
What's New
For the first time in its history, the London Marathon will award equal prize money to the men's and women's winners. The total prize pot has also been increased to £400,000.
