Emergency management officials in Oklahoma have reported at least two deaths and several injuries following a series of tornadoes that touched down across multiple counties on Saturday night.
According to the National Weather Service, at least 10 tornadoes were confirmed in Oklahoma, with several counties reporting significant damage to homes and trees. Local officials are still assessing the full extent of the damage, but dozens of homes have been reported damaged or destroyed.
The tornadoes come as part of a broader severe weather outbreak in the central and southern United States. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch for several states, including Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas.
